and a uniquely feminine perspective to our workshops.
Together we do our utmost to help each participant
learn the information and then Take the learning
out of the workshop and into every day life.
"I
would classify you as one of the top facilitators
I have had in all of my university and graduate
programs. Your caring and love for what you do is
a reflection of the students that pass through your
workshops. The effort and time that you and Berit
put into developing and facilitating your programs
is a testament of your elevated standards and passion
to provide the very best. Congratulations on a job
well done and may life bring you what you so rightfully
deserve!"

Welcome
to EFT and Beyond...
About
our Workshops
We
teach the following workshops:
To
become certified we require a person to pass a written
and a practical exam to become a Certified EFT
Practitioner (Details)
Our
workshops are unique and differ from many others
because we focus on the art of delivering
EFT. Anyone can learn the basics of EFT, such as
the tapping points and a simple procedure of how
to tap. The real magic of EFT is in the artful
delivery.
We
have taught thousands at our workshops over the
years and very early on we heard the feedback from
people. Many were saying:
- “I
don’t know where to start.”
-
I don’t know what to say.”
-
“How do I deal with _________ problem/issue?”
-
EFT doesn’t work, what am I doing wrong?”
The
answer to the last question is usually, “Not much.”
The reason many people are not as successful as
they would like to be when applying EFT is because
they haven’t learned how to do it properly. Some
may have taken an introductory workshop, taught
by someone fairly new to EFT, or they may have watched
a DVD or two, which were not in fact training films.
Usually these people get frustrated and discouraged
and end up saying, “EFT doesn’t work.”
Then,
some of these same people find their way to one
of our EFT workshops and a whole new world opens
up for them.
What
and How We Teach EFT
We
begin by teaching the location of the points to
tap and the basic procedure. Then we add all the
necessary steps to help you make EFT work. Step
by step, one layer upon another. Once all that is
second nature and the mechanics are out of the way,
we get down to the really good stuff.
This is the art of delivering EFT. We take
you to – EFT and beyond...
You
will learn how to get started in a session. Then
what to do if the first round didn’t reduce the
problem/issue much, because there are various options
you can choose and pathways you can follow. The
focus then becomes learning about information
gathering, which is essential to any successful
therapeutic encounter.
Contrary
to popular belief, there are no special words to
say when using EFT – no unique word phrases, or
word patterns. When you learn how to be proficient
at information gathering, you will never be
saying, “I don’t know what words to use.” Instead
you will be saying, “That was a great session!”
Included
in ALL our EFT workshops is information on:
- The
Mind/Body Connection – we find it’s useful
to know why the tapping works from a bio-chemical
viewpoint. This explanation (it’s relatively short
and sweet) helps you to understand why EFT works
and takes some of the mystery away, as well as
some of the weirdness factor. When we explain
this during the workshops, people nod their heads
and say, “That makes sense.” Or, “I wondered how
it all worked, now I know.” And, “Now, I’ll
be able to explain EFT in a much more useful way
to my clients, friends and family!”
-
How to establish rapport with yourself
or your client (both conscious and unconscious)
-
How to preframe your client
-
How to test your application of EFT
-
Learn what works and what doesn’t work
-
Plus a special bonus – we try to include
as many NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) tips,
tricks and techniques we possibly can.
Learning
a bit of NLP and combining it with EFT, results
in an amazing combination of skills and techniques.
As we said at the beginning... Welcome to
EFT and Beyond!
Our
Aim and Objective at Our Workshops
Our
aim and objective when teaching EFT at our workshops
is to have you “own” the information so
you can go out into the real world and be successful,
confident and competent when using EFT!
Our
workshops are experiential, which means you get
hands-on training. There are numerous practice sessions
and we strive to give each participant individualized
attention. We also have a lot of fun at
our workshops because we believe learning is far
too important to be taken seriously.

We

Certified
EFT Practitioner
Prerequisite
for attendance – attended EFT The Fundamentals,
Intermediate Level, Advanced Level and EFT
Practitioner workshops. As well, pass a Written
Exam and a Practical Exam (details supplied
on request).
For
those interested in becoming a Certified
EFT Practitioner, we have a program in
place which is the only one of its kind in
Canada (and one of the few EFT certification
programs anywhere in the world) where an individual
is tested on their knowledge, proficiency
and skills.
Prospective
clients want to know that the person they
are seeking help from (with their emotional
issues) has been tested. Not only with a written
exam, but also observed during countless practice
sessions, over the course of many workshops,
and passed a practical, hands on exam.
This is important to clients, especially
if a practitioner is advertising themselves
as “certified” and there has been no practical
testing of their skills involved.
Our
standards are high but fair. We do not necessarily
certify everyone the first time. We want
to make sure that when we certify a person
as an EFT Practitioner they know what they’re
doing. We are attaching our name to the
certification and we want to make sure the
person has a certain level of understanding
regarding how to use EFT successfully with
others. We don’t guarantee their work (How
could we?!). But we do our best to ensure
that they have a certain level of knowledge,
proficiency and skill.
“The
level at which you have integrated your knowledge
of EFT, combined with your other skills, makes
you an excellent presenter and trainer.”

Practitioner Mentoring Group
Over the years, we have mentored many people on an individual basis, and been delighted to do it. Along the way people have expressed a desire to learn more, and also share their tapping experiences with others, as a way of enhancing the integration of the material presented at our workshops. This sounded like a good idea to us, and so we are starting something brand new - the Practitioner Mentoring Group.
A Small Sampling of the Topics We Will Cover:
- Expanding upon the information you've already learned about tapping (i.e., when to use the 9 Gamut, ND, using humour, to name just a few).
- Learn new "stuff," (i.e., gain better rapport with your clients, discover core issues more quickly and easily, and take your skills beyond the basics of tapping).
- Learn some useful NLP techniques to complement your tapping skills, and have even more success helping your clients.
- How to deal with problem or difficult clients.
- What to do when you're stuck.
- Note taking after a session and preparing for the next session (future pacing yourself).
- Some do's and don't of running a practice.
One of the many advantages of being in a small group of practitioners is you can share your experiences, learn how others have handled certain situations, and get help with your specific issues. As well, you will have the guidance, support and help of a therapist with 22 years experience in private practice.
Our
standards are high but fair. We do not necessarily
certify everyone the first time. We want
to make sure that when we certify a person
as an EFT Practitioner they know what they’re
doing. We are attaching our name to the
certification and we want to make sure the
person has a certain level of understanding
regarding how to use EFT successfully with
others. We don’t guarantee their work (How
could we?!). But we do our best to ensure
that they have a certain level of knowledge,
proficiency and skill.
Details
Dates: Three Saturdays - to be determined
Time: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Cost: We are offering a special introductory price of $295.00 (for all three Saturdays). Because we are purposely limiting attendance to only six people, and the three Saturdays are a package, we require each person to commit to attending all three classes.
Our aim in forming the Practitioner Mentoring Group is to help you in any way we can to be the best practitioner you can be. By limiting the class size to six people, each person will get the individualized attention a small group can provide.
